More Flash

Went looking for a quick tutorial today, and found a simple looking one at entheosweb.com.
It was fairly short and straightforward but did tend to assume the reader had some basic flash experience; knowing where things were located, basic commands and things like that.


In the end it wasn't too difficult to follow though, and I managed to create a working flash digital clock :o


And added it under my photo gallery :3

Whee, success (:

A working flash photo gallery, using Adobe Flash cs3 and this tutorial.
The tutorial was beautifully easy to follow a gave me some insight into how ActionScript works (:

I only ran into one problem; the tutorial looked to be using Flash 8 so therefore was using ActionScript 2.0 to code, whereas Flash 9 (cs3) uses AS 3.0 by default. You'd think them only being a version apart the codes would be similar enough but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

I found a few people who had the same problem and it turned out to be an easy fix (: I ended up pretty pleased with the result and enjoyed working on it.
